Does MNsure cover dental and vision? It depends on what you qualify for.

• Medical Assistance: dental care like checkups, fillings and dentures, plus eye exams and eyeglasses. Some services need prior approval. See Medical Assistance dental and eyeglasses and vision.
• MinnesotaCare: includes dental coverage. We check the details for your situation.
• Private MNsure plans: dental and vision for children are part of the required benefits. Adult dental and vision are usually not included. MNsure also offers separate dental plans you can add.

If your income fits, Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare can cover dental care that a private plan would leave out, at low or no cost. You can apply for them any time of year. See income limits, or call and we check with you.
