PLAN LEVELS
Bronze, silver or gold: which MNsure plan is right for you?
The metal level shows how you and the plan split costs. Bronze has the lowest monthly premium but you pay more when you get care. Gold costs more each month but less when you get care. Silver is in the middle, and it can come with extra savings if your income is lower. Call MinnAssist at (866) 655-6606.
Compare the levels
| Level | Monthly premium | What you pay when you get care | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Lowest | Most | People who rarely see a doctor |
| Silver | Medium | Medium, and less with extra savings if you qualify | Many people with lower incomes |
| Gold | Highest | Least | People who expect a lot of care |
Extra savings on silver plans
If your income is a little above the MinnesotaCare limit, a silver plan may come with lower deductibles and copays. We check this for you.
