MEDICAL ASSISTANCE ENDED

Did your Medical Assistance end? You may be able to get it back.

If your coverage ended because a renewal or proof was not turned in, you usually have until the end of the fourth month after it ended to send it in and have your eligibility checked again. MinnAssist helps you do it, free, by phone. Call MinnAssist at (866) 655-6606.

What to do now

  • Find the closing letter and note the date your coverage ended.
  • Call us. We look at what is missing.
  • We help you fill out the renewal and gather proof.
  • We send it in and follow up.

If it has been more than 4 months

You can apply again any time. We help you with a new application.

Why it happens

Most people who lose coverage at renewal still qualify. The paperwork was missed, the letter went to an old address, or the proof was not received.
