Does Medical Assistance cover mental health care?

• Crisis response services (assessment, intervention, stabilization)
• Diagnostic assessments, including screening for co-occurring mental illness and substance use
• Outpatient mental health services: psychotherapy, psychological testing, medication management and more
• Mental health targeted case management
• Inpatient psychiatric hospital stays (with authorization)
• Rehabilitative mental health services for adults, such as ARMHS and ACT

No copays are required for mental health visits.
