UCare Medical Assistance members are now with Medica
UCare says its Medical Assistance (Medicaid) plans have fully transitioned to Medica One Health Plan. If you had UCare Medical Assistance, your health plan is now Medica.
Starting October 1, 2026, the UCare online member account is no longer available. Members can sign in or create a Medica member account. For questions, call the customer service number on your Medica member ID card.
UCare Individual and Family Plans continue through December 31, 2026. UCare says its plans will not be available in 2027, and Medica will continue offering coverage in Minnesota in 2027.
Your health plan and your Medical Assistance eligibility are separate. Keep answering your renewal letters from your county or MNsure. Confused? MinnAssist helps for free, 7 days a week, 9 am to 9 pm: (866) 655-6606.
