UCare Individual & Family Plans end December 31, 2026: what to do
UCare Individual & Family Plan members keep their coverage through December 31, 2026, and UCare plans will not be available after 2026, according to UCare and Medica.
Medica says it will send these members a letter around October 1, 2026 with 2027 plan options and rates, and that its intent is to help members move into a similar Medica plan. Members can choose a different plan during open enrollment.
Open enrollment runs November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Choose by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1. Compare premiums, networks and tax credits before you decide.
