MNsure open enrollment for 2027 starts November 1
Open enrollment for 2027 MNsure health plans runs from November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. This is the time to sign up for a private plan, switch plans, or check whether a tax credit can lower your monthly premium.
If you want your coverage to start on January 1, sign up by December 15. If you sign up after December 15 and by January 15, coverage starts later.
Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare don't have an enrollment period. You can apply for them any time of year. One application through MNsure checks you for all three programs, so you don't have to guess which one fits.
